Small for ages 2-3 - the hat is 8.5" wide at opening, 9" wide at middle and 8" tall.
Medium age 4-5 - the hat is 9.5" wide at opening, 10" wide at middle and 9" tall.
Large for age 6-8 - the hat is 11" wide at opening, 11" wide at middle and 9.5" tall.
XL for age 8-10+ - the hat is 11" wide at opening, 11" wide at middle and 10.5" tall.
